Nashers Terms and Conditions

General

  1. All clients will be deemed to have accepted Nashers terms and conditions (as laid out here) on signature of the contract. Including signature of ‘New client form’. And if services have been used.

  2. Nashers must be informed of any camera and or microphone recording devices, in or around the property they are working or living at prior to work commencing.

  3. For the safety of your pet I will not see any dogs with Kennel cough as it is highly contagious.

  4. The client is responsible for any veterinary bills no matter how they are incurred, whilst pets are in the care of Nashers.

  5. Nashers must be alerted to any behavioural problems with their pets at the time of booking. Failure to do so may result in additional charges, or cancellation of any future contract. If Nashers deems your pet unsocial or untrained on the lead, private walking fees will apply.

  6. Nashers will care for your animal as you would, and whilst we will make every effort to ensure your pet is well looked after in your absence, Nashers cannot be held liable for any loss, injury or death to a pet either inside or outside of the home whilst in our care.

  7. Nashers cannot be held liable for adverse conditions and or unforeseen events which may cause Nashers to make cancelations of appointment on short notice. In this instance, a full refund will be given or no charge will apply.

  8. The client must provide Nashers with the name and contact number of someone capable of making a decision relating to the pet(s) in an emergency. If the contact is not available Nashers reserves the right to consult with a veterinary surgeon and then make a decision which is in the best interests of the animal.

  9. All sections of Nashers Terms and Conditions apply to whichever service you require.
     

Dog Walking

  1.  All dogs being exercised must be fully vaccinated and on a regular flea and worm control regime.

  2.  All dogs being walked will undergo a trial period to ensure that they are adequately trained and socialised.

  3.  Nashers reserves the right to cancel the contract at any time & with immediate effect if the dog does not respond well to the walker and/or other dogs.

  4.  All dogs will be exercised on a lead unless prior agreement has been agreed in writing.

  5. Nashers do not walk Bitches in season or known to be coming in to season, if a dog is in season and we haven’t been notified in advance we will not take your pet out in public but you will still be charged.

  6. The walker will apply personal judgement and cut short a walk if necessary because of extreme weather conditions (ie, heat, thunder storms) or emergency situations, for the safety of both the dog and the walker.

 

Home Visits

  1. Nashers will make adequate steps to ensure your home is safe and secure in your absence, however Nashers cannot be held responsible or financially liable for accidents caused by your pet(s) or any other accidents or burglaries.

  2. The client must provide all items necessary for pets to be adequately cared for in the client's absence. (i.e., food, medication, leads, tags, collars, muzzle etc). Should pets require any additional supplies whilst in the care of Nashers, these will be purchased and added to the bill.

  3. The client must provide a clean environment for living. For example, but not limited to, clean bedding and working facilities. They must inform Nashers of any issues in the house prior to stay.

  4. The client must inform Nashers of any deliveries or work people who will be wanting access to the property at time of stay. If prior information has not been given Nashers have the right to refuse anyone access to property for their own safety.

  5. For our safety Nashers are to be informed if there is any persons already at the property that they are working at.

Pet Taxi

  1. Clients must notify the veterinary surgery that Nashers will be attending the appointment on their behalf and ensure that arrangements for payment have been made with either Nashers or the vet.

  2. Nashers does not accept any liability for any accident, injury or delay incurred during transportation.

 

Payment terms

Payment is to be made prior to or on the date of appointment.
I accept cash and bank transfers.

Cancellations must be made 1 week (7 days) prior to appointment if a full refund is to be given.

Cancellations after this time will be charged the full amount agreed.
